Today we are sharing with you the best three underrated books on shamanism, to help you give your spiritual side a big boost, and create some magic! Are you ready? Here we go:

The Shaman's Mind: Huna Wisdom to Change Your Life by Jonathan Hammond

Jonathan Hammond is a New York author, that started off his life as an actor but slowly turned his attention to becoming a shaman.

He shifted his life completely, and opened himself up to the world of shamanism, to the way of the Hawaii Huna. In his book, he explains the seven principles that the Huna live by so that they can explore the inner knowledge each one of us holds. It’s an amazing book that will definitely help you develop yourself spiritually.

“Limitlessness”, or infinite connection, is one of the seven major principles of Huna, so as I introduce my Hawaii story to you, I will likewise introduce you to the seven principles. To delve into Shamanism is to open to an inner knowing that lies beyond what we are able to learn from books, teachers, or the culture to which we believe we should adhere. “All power comes from within” is another major Huna principle and following this inward direction became my path to this knowledge.

The Gift of Shamanism: Visionary Power, Ayahuasca Dreams, and Journeys to Other Realms by Itzhak Beery

Have you ever thought that you might be a shaman? Well, in his amazing book Beery explains that we are all shamans, we just lay dormant on our inner shamanic skills.

In this awesome book, Beery walks you through different shamanic concepts, such as seeing, and he shares a lot of his shamanic experiences both with his students, with the people he helped, and experiences he had with the spirit world. It’s a beautiful book to read and live by! We wholeheartedly recommend it!

Your Life Purpose is your North star in the dark night as you navigate your canoe. It is the compass by which your soul directs your life journey.

The Wheel of Time: The Shamans of Mexico Their Thoughts About Life Death & the Universe by Carlos Castaneda

One of the most famous books on shamanism is a part of a series by a world-renowned writer called Carlos Castaneda. His journey started when he met up with a man who had great knowledge of herbs, especially in psychedelic ones in which Castaneda was interested in learning more about.

Upon meeting this man, his whole life changed because he became his student. After ten years of teachings, he sat down, went through his notes, and wrote these few books that explain various shamanic teachings.

We loved all of them, but the most interesting one for us was definitely The Wheel of Time, where time is explored from a different perspective. We recommend reading the whole series of books!

The internal dialogue is what grounds people in the daily world. The world is such and such or so and so, only because we talk to ourselves about its being such and such and so and so. The passageway into the world of shamans opens up after the warrior has learned to shut off his internal dialogue
