Lately, ambition has become a dirty word. Because a lot of depictions on series, tv shows, and social media where ambitious people are also people who are most likely to betray someone’s trust so that they can move forward with their goals – ambition has become a characteristic that we look down upon.
In fact, many people argue that if you wish to find yourself spiritually, and become a better self, that you can’t achieve that if you are ambitious. But in reality, ambition is just another driving force that helps us to push forward in life.
What Is The Meaning Of Ambition?
In any dictionary you open, one of the first definitions that show up is that ambition is a strong desire to achieve something. But, in a way, ambition is more than that. It’s a strong belief in yourself, your capabilities, and awareness of how much more you can become than you are now.
Ambition is the knowledge that you can become so much more, that there is space for you to grow infinitely, both inwards and outwards, and that knowledge gives birth to that desire to become a better self. It’s true, many ambitious people sometimes take the easy way towards success, but most of them put in the hard work, and they persevere through hardships – and they grow, and manifest their own damn magic.
So, please let’s not make ambition a dirty word anymore!
Ambition is the driving force towards change, it’s that force inside that keeps nagging you that you could become even more amazing – it’s the road towards magic! So, let’s use ambition to create our own damn magic!
