In Braving the Wilderness, Brown is carefully discussing how there comes a time when we all get lost in this crazy modern world. The times have changed, and they change faster than ever. The pressure of keeping up, with the world and your ideas of perfectionism and becoming the ideal person, sadly many get lost on the way. It seems like you are never pleased with who you are, and your main destination is becoming the ideal person.

But, life isn't about becoming someone who you are proud of according to Brown. The goal is to accept yourself and be proud of who you already are. Because when you accept yourself, you completely shift your perspective. You become kinder and more compassionate to others because you no longer see them as work in progress. You see them as a whole, as fellow souls on a journey through the wilderness. And only by accepting yourself, you can start the magical process of stopping the race to change yourself and starting to be who you are.

As you read the Three Magic Words, you will start to understand the deeper layers of yourself. Andersen has a genuine and stable tone. His writing is full of authority, and you can sense through his words that the Three Magic Words is quite different than any other spiritual book you've ever read. You can sense the truth behind his words.

Simple, concise sentences fall one after the other, and chapter by chapter, you not only realize that he is right but you also sense that somehow you already knew this. Andersen explains step by step how The Universal Mind works and how your mind works. With each sentence, he touches every layer of your being and tickles your conscious and subconscious mind. If you have questions, that you can't answer or missing pieces of the spiritual journey puzzle then Three Magic Words by U.S. Andersen is definitely the right book choice for you.

3. The Art of Happiness by Dalai Lama XIV, Howard C. Cutler

Mister Howard C. Cutler is the author of this book, and by showing us a list of interviews and conversations he had with the Dalai Lama XIV and his remarks on them, he shows us how to begin the road to happiness. Through various conversations and examples, Mister Cutler makes a comparison between the Western perspective and what the Dalai Lama XIV teaches him.

This book takes you on a wonderful journey, you get to learn compassion, and how the purpose of life is the search for happiness, how it can be achieved, your right to happiness, how to rise above your hardships and the most important thing that this book can teach us is how to transform negative into positive.

When life becomes too complicated and we feel overwhelmed, it’s often useful just to stand back and remind ourselves of our overall purpose, our overall goal. When faced with a feeling of stagnation and confusion, it may be helpful to take an hour, an afternoon, or even several days to simply reflect on what it is that will truly bring us happiness, and then reset our priorities on the basis of that. This can put our life back in proper context, allow a fresh perspective, and enable us to see which direction to take.

4. The Mastery Of Love by Miguel Ruiz

This book focuses on romantic relationships and stories and metaphors allow us to see a new, more realistic perspective on our overall relationship. I really enjoyed reading it since it has a soft tone and it contains a landmine of wisdom. For example, Mister Ruiz explains how important it is to love yourself and to be happy with yourself so you can have a profound romantic relationship.

And in reality, it’s true. No matter how much love can you give to your partner, if you don’t love yourself your relationship won’t work simply because on a subconscious level you believe you don’t deserve to be loved. Mister Ruiz uses the three teachings of the Toltec – Awareness, Transformation, and Love to show us that our fears and misplaced expectations can only do harm to our relationships. It was such a great book to read, true to the point and emotionally and thought challenging.

Humans hunt for love. We feel that we need that love because we believe we don’t have love because we don’t love ourselves. We hunt for love in other humans just like us, expecting to get love from them when these humans are in the same condition as we are. They don’t love themselves either, so how much love can we get from them? We merely create a bigger need that isn’t real; we keep hunting and hunting, but in the wrong place, because other humans don’t have the love we need.

5. The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment by Eckhart Tolle

Each day the stress and worries pile up on you. You find yourself stressed out about how tomorrow will be and regretting the past. And this isn't how life is supposed to be. Your life is NOW. Not in the past and not in the future, but right now at this moment. Everything that is happening to you is your life. The hardwood of your desk, the delicious coffee that you are drinking and the little mishaps - they are all part of your life at this moment. So, why do you worry so much?

And this is just how Mister Tolle starts his book - The Power of Now. As we promised, hard truths are a big part of the Power of Now. But so is guidance for spiritual awakening and inspiration. Mister Tolle has put all of his knowledge in this book, just so one day you will pick it up, awaken yourself and lead a more fulfilled life. It's time to live, truly live to the fullest. Maybe you won't go climbing off Kilimanjaro after you read this book, but we guarantee massive change is coming to your life.

Being an outsider to some extent, someone who does not "fit in" with others or is rejected by them for whatever reason, makes life difficult, but it also places you at an advantage as far as enlightenment is concerned. It takes you out of unconsciousness almost by force.
