How to Make Your Own Gem Water in 5 Steps

(Direct Method)

Use this direct method for all stones not included on our What Crystals Are Safe for Gem Water list. If the crystal you want to use is included in this list, skip to the indirect method below.

1. Pick an affirmation or intention you would like to focus on. Check out some crystals and their corresponding affirmations below. Also, be sure to cleanse your crystal by tuning fork or smudging.

2. Now, pour a glass of filtered, clean water. You can choose any type of water that resonates most with you. Just make sure it has as little added junk as possible, free of fluoride, chlorine, etc. And, of course try to use a glass cup or container. No BPA to mess up our flow!

3. Rub your palms together rapidly for 5-10 seconds until you feel a slight tingle in the center of your palms. This movement awakens your palm chakras, allowing energy to more freely flow from your body.

4. Now that your energy is flowing, hold your crystal in your palm while reciting your affirmation or intention. Imagine your words flowing from your heart and solar chakras flowing into the crystal.

5. When you feel ready, drop your crystal in the water, then hold the water in your palms and recite your affirmation or intention again. Let it sit for 30 seconds and then enjoy!

(Indirect Method)

Use this indirect method for all stones included on our What Crystals Are Safe for Gem Water list.

2. Now, you will need two containers, one for the water you will drink and another, larger, to put your crystals around the glass of water you will drink. Pour a glass of filtered, clean water. You can choose any type of water that resonates most with you. Just make sure it has as little added junk as possible, free of fluoride, chlorine, etc. And, of course try to use a glass cup or container. No BPA to mess up our flow!
