What Crystals Are Safe for Gem Water?

When making your own crystal or gem elixir, it’s of utmost importance to make sure you don’t accidentally ingest anything that’s bad for you. Although crystals have so much love and light to bring to us, they also can sometimes contain trace elements that can be toxic or even radioactive to humans. Fortunately, there are two ways to make crystal elixirs, a direct method and an indirect method. With the direct method, you can safely drop your crystal into the water and drink. The indirect method allows you to still utilize crystals for their frequency and love, just in a safer way. The following list, compiled by Ashley Leavy, contain all the crystals you cannot use in the direct method. If you have any questions at all, please be sure to email us.

-A-

Abalone - Harmful or toxic stone. Organic, may contain bacteria as well as pollutants from toxic materials from the water it forms in.

I have found much information that contradicts this statement and claims that Amber is completely non-toxic. This is the only source that I have read claiming that Amber should be used with caution. My suggestion would be to use in an elixir prepared with the alternative method just to be safe until more research can be done on this claim.
