Full Moon in Leo Recap

🌕 Full Moon in Leo
Claim Your Joy • Prepare the Heart
Welcome, magic maker 🦁🌙
This Full Moon in Leo arrived as a bold and heart-opening invitation to reconnect with joy, not as something earned or performed, but as something essential.
As the final Full Moon before eclipse season begins, this lunation asked us to pause, feel, and tell the truth about what lights us up, and where we may have been dimming our light to fit in, keep peace, or meet expectations.
This workshop was created as a space to reclaim authenticity, celebrate creative truth, and gently release the roles, habits, and beliefs that disconnect us from joy — before eclipse season accelerates the story.
✨ About This Full Moon
Full Moon in Leo
🗓 February 1, 2026
🌕 Moon at 13° Leo | ☀️ Sun at 13° Aquarius
⏰ Exact at [optional time if you want to include]
Leo is the sign of the heart, creativity, and self-expression.
Under this Full Moon, emotions rise not to overwhelm us — but to be expressed.
This lunation illuminated the tension between:
- Leo — personal truth, joy, and authenticity
- Aquarius — collective expectations, ideals, and belonging
Rather than asking us to choose one over the other, this Full Moon asked a deeper question:
Where am I honoring the collective at the expense of my heart — and where can joy become a stabilizing force instead?
⚖️ Heart vs. Hive Mind
A central theme of this workshop was the Leo–Aquarius axis:
the heart versus the hive mind.
We explored how this Full Moon can surface:
- people-pleasing or performance
- pressure to be “aligned,” agreeable, or palatable
- fear of standing out or being seen
And how Leo energy offers medicine through:
- creative expression
- honest emotion
- joy without justification
Joy, under this Full Moon, wasn’t framed as indulgence —
but as clarity, truth, and self-trust.
🪐 A Cosmic Threshold: Saturn Preparing to Enter Aries
Another important layer of this Full Moon was the upcoming shift of Saturn into Aries.
Saturn, the teacher and architect of astrology, asks us to grow through responsibility, boundaries, and long-term commitment. As it prepares to enter Aries, the sign of identity and initiation, we are collectively being asked to redefine what courage and leadership truly mean.
Historically, Saturn in Aries periods coincide with:
- tests of leadership and authority
- identity recalibration
- the call to take responsibility for one’s own direction
This Full Moon helped prepare the heart for that work — reminding us that authentic joy and self-trust are essential foundations for the courage Saturn in Aries will require.
🌑 Preparing for Eclipse Season
This Full Moon also served as an emotional clearing point before eclipse season begins.
We explored how:
- eclipses accelerate change
- overlapping eclipse cycles can layer themes rather than resolve them neatly
- and why this moment matters as Virgo–Pisces cycles near completion while Leo–Aquarius cycles begin to activate
This lunation offered a chance to reconnect with what feels alive, honest, and worth protecting — before eclipse season rearranges the landscape.

🌕 Working with This Full Moon
You don’t need to force anything under this moon.
This Full Moon works best when you:
- return to joy as information
- notice where authenticity feels relieving
- allow expression without over-explaining
If eclipse season feels intense in the weeks ahead, return to this question:
What brings me back to myself?
Joy is not extra right now.
It’s stabilizing.
🌙 A Closing Note
You don’t need to perform your worth.
You don’t need to dim your light to belong.
Let this Full Moon in Leo remind you that your joy is a form of truth — and a compass you can trust as the path ahead begins to shift.
