🐟✨ What's Dissolving • Full Moon Eclipse in Pisces

Welcome back, magic maker 🐟✨

The Full Moon Eclipse in Pisces arrived on August 28th at 4°54', exact at 12:18am, and she did not ease us in gently.

She landed right on the lunar Nodes — opposite Mercury in Virgo, squared by Uranus in Gemini — the second-to-last chapter of an eclipse story that's been unfolding since September 2024. She carried a Sabian Symbol about a church bazaar, sacred and communal at once. And she arrived as a near-total blood moon, deep copper and impossible to miss, closing the eclipse season that opened two weeks earlier with the Solar Eclipse in Leo.

This was not a quiet moon. This was a jolt, by design — Uranus making sure nobody slept through it.

Sometimes the most important releases don't come wrapped in stillness. Sometimes they come as a shock to the system, because that's the only way you'd have let go.

✨ About This Full Moon Eclipse

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces
🗓 August 27 & 28, 2026
🌕 Moon at 4°54' Pisces, conjunct the North Node
☿ Mercury at 4° Virgo, conjunct the South Node · direct opposition
⚡ Uranus in Gemini · square both
🩹 Chiron in Taurus · sextile Moon
♂️ Mars in Cancer · trine Moon
🩸 ~96% partial eclipse — a deep copper "blood moon," visible right here in NYC

A Full Moon happens when the Sun and Moon sit directly across from each other, and everything the New Moon planted two weeks earlier comes fully into the light. An eclipse takes that illumination and turns the volume up — nothing timid gets to stay hidden, and nothing revealed tonight was optional.

In Pisces, that illumination turns toward the water — toward what you've been feeling and not naming, what you've been holding together through sheer will, what you've been performing instead of living. This Full Moon didn't ask you to fix anything. It asked you to stop managing it.

🪐 The Astrology Deep Dive

This eclipse landed at 4°54' Pisces — and the most important thing about that degree is what axis it's sitting on.

Since September 2024, we've been living inside a Virgo/Pisces eclipse cycle — a long lesson in control versus surrender, precision versus trust, doing the work versus letting go of the outcome. Tonight's eclipse is the sixth of seven in that whole series, with only one more (February 2027) left to close the loop.

But the chart didn't stop at one axis. The Moon and Mercury, both sitting on the Nodes, were also squared by Uranus in Gemini — pulling a third mutable sign into the mix and forming a full T-square. Mutable T-squares don't sit still. They're fast, buzzy, and hard to be calm inside of — which tracks, because this wasn't a slow-burn release. It was a sudden one.

The good news lives in the softer aspects. Chiron in Taurus, sextile the Moon, kept the healing available rather than forced. Mars in Cancer, trine the Moon, meant that once something cracked open, there was real energy to actually act on it instead of spiraling.

The Sabian Symbol for this exact degree says the rest: a church bazaar. Spiritual meaning, made communal — the sacred found in a crowd, not in solitude. Whatever surfaced tonight was never meant to be carried alone. That's what the room was for.

⚡ Astro Alert: What's Coming Before the New Moon

The New Moon in Virgo lands September 9th & 10th — and the sky does something pointed right on that second date.

⚡ Uranus Stations Retrograde · September 10, in Gemini
The very planet that shook tonight's eclipse loose turns retrograde, right as the New Moon lands. External shocks give way to internal review — Uranus stops rattling the outside world and starts asking you to sit with what already broke open. Whatever got disrupted this eclipse season, the next few months are for actually integrating it.

☿ Mercury into Libra · September 10
Mercury leaves precise, detail-oriented Virgo and moves into Libra, looking for balance instead of correctness. After a season of getting honest about what wasn't working, Mercury in Libra wants to talk it through, find the fair version, restore some grace to the conversation.

🌙 The Moon Through the Houses

This eclipse activated a different house for everyone — and that house is where the release landed.

1st — self is softening, old armor dissolving. 2nd — old scarcity stories are loosening their grip. 3rd — words and thoughts are getting softer, more intuitive. 4th — home and family bring an emotional release. 5th — creativity and romance are opening in dreamier, less controlled ways. 6th — daily routines and health rituals are asking to soften. 7th — partnerships are asking for more compassion, less control. 8th — deep transformation, letting go of what's been white-knuckled. 9th — beliefs and meaning are shifting. 10th — public image is dissolving an old version of "success." 11th — community and long-term goals feel more fluid than usual. 12th — the deepest release of the night: old patterns, grief, subconscious material finally surfacing.

🃏 The Cards

We opened with an icebreaker — one word on what already felt shaken loose — and everyone got their card as we went around the room, reading it alongside their answer.

Then came the meditation, sinking into the water energy of the night, followed by journaling on what surfaced. From there, everyone named what they were ready to release — a role, a story, an old identity — and let it go into water, dissolving paper into a shared bowl in person, water at home for those joining online.

After the release, we shared. What came up, what dissolved, what's left now that it's gone. The room held more than anyone expected going in.

A second card closed the night — one more read on what wanted the last word.

🐟 A Closing Reflection

Pisces always wants to dissolve the edges — to stop holding the line between what's yours to carry and what was never yours to begin with.

This eclipse didn't ask you to have the answer. It asked you to stop performing that you did. Something you've been managing instead of feeling finally got to be felt tonight, on a timeline you didn't choose, in a room built to hold it with you.

You wrote it down. You let it dissolve. You're still here — still breathing, still whole.

Carry it gently. The water's still moving.

With love,
Shereen and the My Little Magic Shop Team 🐟✨
