Word of The Week – Candle Magic
•Posted on August 06 2019
Candles are one of the best tools for manifesting. This is because candles embody all five elements of nature which make them perfect for intention setting and manifesting. However, because of their huge energetical significance in the world of vibes, candles are excellent tools to create different types of magic with them. Here are the types of candle magic that you can do with your candles:
Intention Setting
One of the simplest ways to use a candle to manifest your dreams is when you are setting intentions for a new goal. Candles, as we mentioned before, are excellent for helping you to manifest your goals, and that includes intention setting. Whenever you set an intention to make sure you cleanse the candle before you begin the intention setting ritual.
Extra Tip: Never blow out the candle when you set intentions! It is believed that by blowing out the candle you are returning the newly attracted energy. Instead of blowing your candle out either let it burn out by itself or put it out with wet fingers.
Candle Carving
If you like to fortify your intentions or attract specific energy to your home then candle carving is the best way to do so. When you carve symbols into the candles, combined with the properties of the candle itself, they become a powerful tool through which your intentions will be emitted to the Universe whenever you burn your candle or you will create powerful pulling energy – attracting whichever type of energy you were trying to attract.
The most common symbols for candle carving are usually runes, or more simple universal symbols such as a heart for attracting love, peace sign for peaceful energy and so on.
Candle Divination
Although candles are powerful manifestation tools, they can also be used to point you in the right direction. Candle divination is a very delicate type of candle magic that requires immense focus. You have to observe the candle as it burns, the direction of the wick, how the flame burns, does it spark up, how the wax rolls down the candle and the possible paths it shows.
Candle Meditation
Last but not least, candles are also excellent tools that can be used to calm, balance and restore harmony to every aspect of yourself when used for meditation. The key to candle meditation is to devote ultimate focus to the burning of the candle, and let the candle guide you through the meditation instead of guiding yourself. It’s even more beneficial when you cover your candle with a few drops of lavender or frankincense essential oil to help you increase your focus.
