The Goddess of Opportunity • Full Moon in Sagittarius Blue Moon

Welcome back, magic maker 🌕✨

The Sagittarius Full Moon arrived on May 31st as a Blue Moon.

The second Full Moon of May. Amplified. Honest. And carrying something most of us weren't quite expecting.

A door opening.

That's the image at 10° Sagittarius — a golden-haired goddess of opportunity arriving at the threshold. And the question this moon asked wasn't are you ready. It was are you paying attention?

Because the goddess doesn't wait long.

✨ About This Full Moon

Full Moon in Sagittarius 🗓 May 31, 2026 🌕 Moon at 9°55' Sagittarius | ☀️ Sun in Gemini 💫 Opposite Uranus in Gemini, trine Saturn and Neptune in Aries, sextile Pluto in Aquarius, square the Nodes in Pisces and Virgo

A Full Moon occurs when the Sun and Moon sit directly across the sky from each other — a moment of illumination, of harvest, of things coming to light that have been quietly growing since the New Moon. This is not the time for planting. It is the time for seeing clearly what you've already been tending.

In Sagittarius — the sign of beliefs, philosophy, truth, and the search for meaning — that illumination goes deep. Sagittarius doesn't do surface level. It wants to know what you actually believe. Not what you say you believe. What's running underneath every decision you make, every story you tell yourself about what's possible.

The Sabian Symbol for 10° Sagittarius gave us two images — and both are true.

The first: a golden-haired goddess of opportunity. An unexpected grace arriving. A door you almost miss if you're not paying attention.

The second: a theatrical performance of a Greek play. A larger story unfolding on the stage. Archetypes playing their roles. Something bigger than any one person's situation.

Hold both. Because this Full Moon was both. There was an opportunity available — and it was part of a much larger story that's been playing out for a while.

🪐 The Astrology Deep Dive

Four major aspects shaped the energy of this Full Moon — and together they made it one of the most electrically charged lunations of the year.

Moon opposite Uranus in Gemini — The Lightning Bolt Uranus is the planet of sudden revelation, disruption, and the kind of clarity that arrives in an instant and changes everything. In Gemini, it's been rewriting the way we think, communicate, and process information. Opposite the Full Moon, it brought a lightning bolt quality to the evening — the sense that something you couldn't quite see before suddenly became impossible to ignore. You can't un-know what you now know. That's not a warning. That's the point.

Moon trine Saturn and Neptune in Aries — The Stabilizer This is what kept the Uranus opposition from feeling like pure chaos. A trine is a flowing, supportive aspect — and with both Saturn and Neptune in Aries, the disruption had structure and meaning underneath it. Saturn said: what survives this illumination is real and worth building on. Neptune said: what you're being called toward has spiritual significance. The lightning bolt wasn't random. It was pointing you somewhere.

Moon sextile Pluto in Aquarius — The Invitation Pluto in Aquarius is the slow, deep transformation of collective systems and the way we belong to each other. A sextile is an open door — available, not automatic. This one said: transformation is possible right now, but you have to engage with what surfaces. The Full Moon lit something up. Pluto offered to help you change it. The invitation was there if you were willing to walk through.

Moon square the Nodes in Pisces and Virgo — The Real Question This is the aspect that gave the moon its teeth. The nodal axis is our collective evolutionary path — where we're coming from and where we're headed. The North Node in Pisces is asking us to move toward faith, surrender, creativity, and compassion. The South Node in Virgo is asking us to release the perfectionism, the overanalysis, the endless self-improvement loop that never quite feels like enough.

A Full Moon squaring the nodes asks a direct question: are your beliefs aligned with your evolution? Sagittarius rules beliefs. And this moon was asking you to look honestly at the ones running quietly in the background — the ones shaping your life whether you're aware of them or not.

🌟 Meet the Asteroid Goddesses

We took time tonight to go beyond the planets and meet the asteroids — because they carry something the traditional chart often leaves out.

The planets were named almost entirely after gods. Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto — male archetypes, all of them. The asteroids were discovered later, between 1801 and 1807, and astronomers named them after the feminine divine. Ceres. Juno. Pallas Athena. Vesta. The four pillars of the goddess pantheon. And Chiron — the wounded healer who bridges both worlds.

These weren't afterthoughts. They were the missing half of the story.

Here's where they were sitting under this Blue Moon:

Chiron in Aries — healing the wound around identity. Am I enough? Do I have the right to take up space? As Chiron prepares to move into Taurus on June 19th, the healing is beginning to shift — from who I am to what I have, what I'm worth, and what I'm here to build.

Ceres in Gemini — nourishing through words, ideas, and conversation. She feeds us through being heard. The goddess of loss and return, reminding us that what feels gone has a way of coming back.

Juno in Aquarius — wanting partnerships that feel like freedom. Relationships built on shared vision and space to be yourself. She heads back into Capricorn in August for a review of where our commitments have become more obligation than love.

Pallas Athena in Aries — the warrior-strategist, born fully formed from the head of Zeus, dressed in armor. Asking: what bold move have you been overthinking? Where do you already know the answer?

Vesta in Aries — the sacred flame turned fiercely personal. Devoted to the individual calling. The thing only you can do, the fire only you can tend. Asking: are you tending it, or have you been letting it flicker while you tend everyone else's first?

🌕 The Moon Through the Houses

This Full Moon at 10° Sagittarius activated a different house for everyone — and the house it landed in tells you where the goddess of opportunity was knocking.

In the 1st house, she knocked on your identity and your sense of direction. In the 9th, on your beliefs and the meaning you've been making of your life. In the 7th, on your partnerships and what true balance looks like. In the 12th, on what lives in the shadows and what's ready to surface.

Whatever house this moon lit up for you — that is where the door was opening. The question is whether you noticed it in time to walk through.

✦ The Sigil

Tonight we made sigils — and it was one of my favorite activities we've done in a while.

A sigil is your intention collapsed into a symbol. A personal piece of magic you carry with you. We worked with the energy of the Sagittarius Full Moon — freedom, expansion, truth, release — and each person built their own symbol from the letters of their intention.

There are no wrong sigils. There is only your magic, made visible.

For our in-person magic makers, you drew your sigil while I circulated for chart readings. For our online magic makers, the invitation was to take it home and draw it tomorrow under the Full Moon.

Wherever your sigil lives now — hang it somewhere you'll see it. Let it remind you what you stepped into that night.

🃏 The Cards

For our online magic makers, each person received a personal oracle pull at the opening of the workshop — a card drawn just for them as they shared their three things. We closed with a collective card for the whole room.

For our in-person magic makers, an oracle card waited face-down at each seat. You flipped it when you shared your name and your three things. And tucked under every worksheet, a hidden card — holding space all evening until we turned them over together at the close.

The cards always know something.

🌊 A Closing Reflection

Sagittarius always asks you to tell the truth. And the truth tonight was this:

You have been carrying beliefs about yourself and your life that you haven't fully examined. Some of them are serving you. Some of them are quietly keeping you exactly where you are.

This Blue Moon — rare, amplified, honest — came to illuminate the difference.

You showed up. You wrote down three things you tended this month. You read them out loud. You let the Full Moon witness it. And then you sat with the real question: are the beliefs I'm living aligned with where I'm actually trying to go?

The goddess of opportunity was at the door.

I hope you let her in.

Go home. Burn your palo santo. Light your red candle. Place your sigil somewhere sacred. Speak your intention out loud one more time. And let the Blue Moon witness everything you're stepping into.

Because the play is on the stage. The door is open. And you are not a bystander — you are the lead.

With love, Shereen and the My Little Magic Shop Team 🌕
