Full Moon in Aquarius Workshop Recap

What's Cracking Open • Full Moon in Aquarius
Welcome back, magic maker 🥚✨
The Full Moon in Aquarius arrived on July 29th at 6°30, and she did not arrive quietly.
She landed inside the web of the most significant astrological configuration of our lifetime. She lit up four outer planets at once. She carried a Sabian Symbol about a child being born from an egg. And she did all of this as the last Full Moon before eclipse season begins — the final exhale before August cracks everything open again.
This was not a dramatic moon. The sky around her was actually gentler than anything we had felt in weeks. But gentle does not mean small. Sometimes the most important moments arrive softly, right before everything changes.
That is exactly what this one was.
✨ About This Full Moon
Full Moon in Aquarius
🗓 July 28 & 29, 2026
🌕 Moon at 6°30 Aquarius
🌑 Moon conjunct Pluto in Aquarius
☀️ Sun conjunct Jupiter in Leo · direct opposition
⚡ Uranus in Gemini · sextile Jupiter, trine Pluto
🌊 Neptune in Aries · sextile Pluto
☿ Mercury now direct
A Full Moon happens when the Sun and Moon sit directly across from each other in the sky, and everything the New Moon planted two weeks earlier comes into the light. Nothing stays hidden at a Full Moon. What was seed is now visible. What was forming is now here.
In Aquarius, that illumination turns toward the collective. Aquarius is the sign of the visionary, the truth-teller, the one who sees the pattern from above and asks: but what does this mean for all of us? This Full Moon did not ask what you were feeling. It asked what you were finally ready to see clearly — about yourself, about the people around you, about what July had actually been doing to you.
🪐 The Astrology Deep Dive
This Full Moon landed at 6°30 Aquarius — and the most important thing about that degree is what it was sitting inside.
In mid-July, something rare happened in the sky. Four outer planets — Jupiter in Leo, Pluto in Aquarius, Uranus in Gemini, and Neptune in Aries — all aligned at 4 degrees of their respective signs within a two-week window. Astrologers call this Barbault's Basket, named after French astrologer André Barbault, who spent his life studying how outer planet cycles mirror collective turning points. He associated configurations like this one with the end of long crisis cycles and the beginning of something genuinely new. The chaos of 2020 through 2022 finally finding its resolution. The tide finally turning.
This Full Moon at 6°30 landed within orb of all four of those planets, still humming at 4 degrees of their signs. She did not just activate one thread of the Basket. She lit up the whole web.
The Moon conjunct Pluto in Aquarius brought deep emotional truth to the surface — the transformation coming fully into light. The Sun conjunct Jupiter in Leo on the opposition axis said: be witnessed. Let this be seen. Uranus in Gemini, the spark that had connected the whole Basket configuration, offered unexpected clarity and new information. Neptune in Aries softened everything with permission — permission to let the old version dissolve quietly, without ceremony.
And with Mercury now direct after weeks of retrograde through the heart of all of this, whatever had been scrambled or delayed or only half-understood during July began to finally arrive with clarity. The Basket stirred it. The Full Moon illuminated it. Mercury direct gave us language for it.
The Sabian Symbol for this degree says the rest: a child is seen being born out of an egg. Something had been incubating inside the shell of July. Not forced. Not rushed. Protected by a shell until the moment was right. This Full Moon was the crack of light that said: it is time. You can come out now.
⚡ Astro Alert: What's Coming Before the Eclipse
The Total Solar Eclipse in Leo lands on August 12th. Before we get there, three planetary ingresses arrive in one week — each one a distinct invitation to shift before the bigger shift.
🌹 Venus into Libra · August 6
Venus returns home to Libra, one of her favorite signs. After the intensity of July, this is a softening — an exhale into grace. Libra Venus wants beauty, balance, connection, and harmony. She wants us to tend our relationships with care and our environments with intention. How are you tending to beauty in your life?
☿ Mercury into Leo · August 9
Mercury moves into Leo just days before the eclipse, and he has things to say. Leo Mercury is bold, expressive, and wants to be heard. This is not a whisper-your-truth moment. This is a speak-it-with-your-whole-chest moment. What clarity arrived during this Full Moon that you now need to voice?
♂️ Mars into Cancer · August 11
Mars moves into Cancer the day before the eclipse. Mars in Cancer acts from feeling, not strategy. He protects what he loves. He moves when his heart says move. Eclipse season does not require you to logic your way through. You are allowed to act from love.
🌙 The Moon Through the Houses
This Full Moon at 6°30 Aquarius activated a different house for everyone — and that house is where the illumination landed.
1st — identity is cracking open. Let yourself be seen.
2nd — resources, values, and self-worth are in the light. What do you actually have? What do you actually value?
3rd — mind, voice, and local world are activated. A conversation or message is ready to land.
4th — home, roots, and inner foundation are lit up. What needs to shift to support what's coming?
5th — creative life, joy, and self-expression are glowing. What wants to be born and celebrated?
6th — daily rhythms, health, and work are under the Full Moon's light. What needs releasing from your routine?
7th — relationships and partnerships are illuminated. What truth is ready to be spoken?
8th — deep transformation and what you have been holding below the surface. It is all rising now.
9th — beliefs, philosophy, and sense of meaning are shifting. What did July teach you about what you actually believe?
10th — career, public life, and legacy are in the spotlight. What is ready to be seen by the world?
11th — community, future vision, and sense of belonging are fully lit. This Full Moon is right at home here.
12th — the hidden, the spiritual, the unconscious. Something is surfacing from deep within. Pay attention to your dreams.
🃏 The Cards
We opened by moving through each of the four Basket planets, one at a time — a card for Jupiter, a card for Pluto, a card for Uranus, a card for Neptune. In person, each participant flipped the top card from the deck at their seat. Online, everyone shuffled and pulled as we went. The cards responded to what July had actually done in each of those planetary threads — what expanded, what transformed, what broke loose, what dissolved.
After the card pull, everyone shared — one card, one word, one thing cracking open. The room, in both formats, held more than people expected.
Then we moved into the astrology, and then into the letter.
Before the eclipse season begins and the sky shifts everything again, we stopped to capture this moment. Everyone wrote a letter to themselves — using the prompts from the worksheet — addressed to who they are right now, before the next wave. In person, those letters were sealed in envelopes and left with me. I will mail them at the end of August, after the eclipses, so each person can read them on the other side. Online, letters went home to be sealed and opened on September 1st.
Write to yourself like you are writing to someone you love. That was the only instruction that mattered.

🥚 A Closing Reflection
Aquarius always wants to understand before it feels. One more data point. One more pattern to trace. One more reason to trust that what's coming is actually coming.
But this Full Moon said: you already know. You have known all month. July handed you more information than you could process in real time — that was always part of the design. Mercury retrograde kept some of it below the surface. The Basket moved too fast for the conscious mind to catch. And so the body held it, the way bodies always hold what the brain isn't ready for yet.
This moon was the permission slip to finally feel what you already knew.
Something cracked open in July. Something you have been carrying quietly, maybe without even naming it, began to show itself. The Sabian Symbol said it was always alive in there. The shell was never a failure. The shell was the protection that let the thing grow until it was ready.
You showed up on the last Full Moon before eclipse season. You pulled four cards and let them name what July had done. You wrote a letter to someone you love — and that someone was you. You sealed it and trusted the timing.
Eclipse season is coming. August will ask more of you. But you are not arriving unprepared. You cracked something open tonight. You know what it is now.
Carry it gently. It's just hatched.
With love,
Shereen and the My Little Magic Shop Team 🥚✨
