I can't stop smiling because what a synchronicity! There's a song called 'I AM" which features FloMilli that I listen to when I need to remember my magic. I stumbled across it on tiktok one day and saved it to my Spotify playlist. It lists a bunch of affirmations to a great rap beat and I often belt them at the top of my lungs. They go like this:
I am healthy
I am wealthy
I am rich
I am that b*tch
I am gonna to get that bag
And, I'm not going to take your sh*t
I am protected, well respected
I'm a queen, I'm a dream
I do what I want to do
And, I'm who I want to be
Cause I am ME
I love this song so much because it reminds me that I can make all the magic I want, when I believe in myself. Anyhow, earlier this week, Google (OMG) reached out and let us know that they featured three of our items in their Black-Owned Friday Campaign and I was beyond thrilled. Not only did we get included in a whole music video, FloMilli is wearing a necklace from the shop (by Mateo New York) for like 30 seconds. I love that FloMilli song like I mentioned before, AND had a super crush on Ludacris as a teen. So can I say again, what a synchronicity???
So, I just had to share it with ya'll because dreams do come true! My Little Magic Shop was once a little idea in my head and now we get to share our magic with you!
