This Jimbe is made of lightly varnished mahogany wood, and is skin covered. The drum has ropes along the sides to carry it easily. Offered with different carvings, randomly picked for youJimbe or Djembe are said to be the magical drum. They transmit the vibrations of the tree it is made of, the animal spirit of which the head is made and the state of mind of the artisan that carved the instrument.
