New Moon in Aries Workshop Recap

Heal the Warrior Within • New Moon in Aries
Welcome back, magic maker 🌑🔥
The New Moon in Aries arrived tonight with an army.
The Sun. The Moon. Mercury. Mars. Saturn. Neptune. Chiron. All in Aries. All gathered in the sky at once, pointing at the same thing — the same tender, fiery, necessary truth:
You've been trying to be strong for a long time.
And somewhere along the way, the strength became armor. The armor became a way of life. And the real you — the one underneath all that pushing and fighting and holding it together — has been waiting.
Tonight we finally let her breathe.
✨ About This New Moon
New Moon in Aries 🗓 April 17, 2025 🌑 Moon at 27°28' Aries | ☀️ Sun in Aries ♈ A seven-planet stellium — Neptune, Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Chiron, Sun & Moon all in the sign of the warrior
A New Moon occurs when the Sun and Moon align in the same sign — invisible in the sky, but potent in energy. This is the beginning of a new 28-day cycle. The moment for planting, not harvesting. For intention, not conclusion.
In Aries — the first sign of the zodiac, the sign of the self, the pioneer, the warrior — that energy lands in the most personal place possible: your identity. Your sense of self. The story you've been telling about who you are and what you're capable of.
And with seven planets gathered in the same sign, this wasn't a gentle whisper. This was a full cosmic reset.
The question this New Moon asked: who are you becoming when you finally stop performing who you've had to be?
🪐 The Astrology Deep Dive
This chart was dense, layered, and deeply personal. Two major forces shaped the energy of tonight's intentions.
New Moon conjunct Chiron in Aries (exact) Chiron is not a planet — he's an asteroid, a centaur, a teacher. In mythology, Chiron was a healer who could not heal his own wound. He became the greatest healer in the world because of what he could not fix in himself.
In your chart, Chiron represents your core wound — the place where you felt broken, not enough, or fundamentally flawed. In Aries, that wound lives in the territory of identity, self-worth, and the right to simply exist as you are.
With Chiron conjunct this New Moon, the wound and the beginning are the same thing. You don't get the fresh start by going around it. You get it by walking through it. Tonight was an invitation to do exactly that — to stop treating the wound as an obstacle and start recognizing it as the doorway.
Wide square to Pluto in Aquarius Pluto doesn't do subtle. He's here to make sure this healing doesn't stay surface-level. The square to this New Moon created friction — old power dynamics trying to reassert themselves, resistance rising exactly where the work is deepest.
But friction creates transformation. The discomfort that came up tonight wasn't in the way. It was the way.
🌀 The Sabian Symbol
27° Aries: "A Large Audience Confronts the Performer Who Disappointed Their Expectations."
Sit with that.
This degree is about the courage to show up authentically — even when it disappoints people. Even when you don't perform the version of yourself everyone was expecting. The real Aries battle isn't with an enemy outside of you. It's between who you truly are and who you've been pretending to be to keep everyone comfortable.
This New Moon said: stop performing. Start being.
🌑 The Moon Through the Houses
One of the grounding anchors of every MLMS workshop is finding the Moon in your own chart — because the astrology only becomes magic when it becomes personal.
Tonight's New Moon at 27° Aries activated a different house for everyone in the room. For some it landed in the 1st — a full reset of identity and presence, a direct invitation to take up space as you actually are. For others the 7th — the house of partnership, where the warrior is learning to ask for help. For others still, the 10th, the 4th, the 12th — career, roots, the subconscious, each one asking its own version of the same question: where have you been performing strength instead of living it?
Whatever house this Moon lit up for you, the invitation was the same: put the armor down. Plant something real.
🃏 The Cards
For our online Magic Makers, each person received a personal tarot pull — a card drawn just for them, meeting them exactly where they are on their own journey. We closed with a collective card for the whole room, one final message from the Moon for all of us to carry into the next 28 days.
For our in-person Magic Makers on Friday, an oracle card waited at each seat before anyone arrived — chosen without knowing who would sit there. And under every worksheet, face-down, a hidden card. A message that had been holding space all evening, waiting to be turned over at exactly the right moment.
The cards always know something.

🌊 A Closing Reflection
Aries asks us to begin — but this New Moon asked for something braver than a fresh start.
It asked you to stop abandoning yourself in the name of being strong.
Tonight you showed up. You sat with the wound instead of working around it. You named what you've been carrying, planted what you're ready to grow, and let seven planets witness the whole thing.
That is not a small thing.
Chiron held the space. The stars gathered. And you walked through the door.
Take your seed home. Light your red candle. Hold your jasper close. Say the true thing — to yourself, first.
You are not broken. You never were. You are the healer and the healed.
With love, Shereen & the My Little Magic Shop Team 🌑♈✨
