Book of the Week – Keeping the love that you find: A personal guide by Harville Hendrix
•Posted on February 19 2018
There are many times in life when you stumble upon a person that seems like an ideal partner. But, unfortunately, we seem to demand perfectionism when we ourselves aren’t perfect or quite the opposite, you think you aren’t deserving of that love. When in fact no one is perfect, and you are worth for the love that you find. And for anyone that has a trouble of keeping the love that you find and accepting it I highly recommend you guys today’s book of the week: Keeping the Love that you find: A personal guide by Harville Hendrix.
Mister Harville has some harsh truths for you, but if you can’t face the truth, then you won’t be able to make any progress in your relationships. The truth is that we all bring baggage in a relationship, aware or unaware of this which when is undealt with, can certainly block your way into what could have been a great love relationship. But, by using this book as a guide and exploring yourself and understanding why you react in a certain way, why you have some unrealistic ideals for a relationship, why you have such hard times when it comes to past relationships, it will definitely help you to transform and learn how to have a healthy loving and joyful relationship with your partner.
“Do you want to be right, or do you want to be in relationship?” Because you can’t always have both. You can’t cuddle up and relax with “being right” after a long day.”
Harville Hendrix
I highly recommend, for every person that is single to read this book. It is really highly effective in helping you put things into perspective and realizing, that love is wonderful but perfectly imperfect, and the romance we see on the TVs is just an illusion. What is real is that we all need to work on relationships to make them better and magical.
