When the Moon is waxing, this is a glorious time to get started on pursuing the intentions you want to manifest! It’s the time of pushing forward and tapping into your masculine energy. Remember, masculine energy is all about doing, moving and pushing forward whereas feminine energy is about receiving and allowing. The waxing of the moon starts immediately after the New Moon of the month. If you have set your intentions on the New Moon then this is the time to start moving on them.

Show the universe how badly you want whatever it is you wished for by being open to the opportunities coming your way. Also, get out there and hunt for what you want. Even more importantly this is the time to implement the habits that will allow you to get to your goals. An example of this is if you want to get a new job. Set your intention on the New Moon, then get to apply for jobs while the moon is waxing.

What Should You Do During The Waxing Moon This July?

Although the Waxing Moon is all about moving forward, we are in the middle of a sky filled with retrogrades which are preventing us from making massive progress and push us inwards, to reflect, and see the truth. That’s why this Waxing moon, you should spend it on mapping out your plans. During the New Moon, you set your goals for the next six months. We hope you did that with your Monk Manual that you got in your A Little Zen Box!

Now, we will continue to map out and build plans around those goals. We will write 30 days, 90 days, and 120 days, 6-month goals based on your new moon list. Here is how to do it:

Light a cone of Palo Santo, and take few deep calming breaths. Let it’s cleansing smoke envelop you and your amethyst. Breathe. Feel every part of yourself getting more and more relaxed. That’s it, relax completely.

Feel the energy of the amethyst. It’s calming nourishing vibes trying to connect with you.

Close your eyes lay down, and place your amethyst on your Third Eye Chakra, on your forehead. Take deep calming breaths, and visualize a purple light. Supply energy to it, and let the amethyst energize it as well, until the light is so bright it lights up all the darkness around it.

  • Let the light carry you towards your inner self. Visualize your inner self clearly.

  • Ask your inner self for guidance, to help you plan out your goals, and help you achieve them.

  • Take deep breaths, listen to what your inner self tells you.

  • When your meeting ends, start to pull yourself away.

  • Take deep breaths.

  • When you feel ready, open your eyes.

  • Then open your manual and start jotting down what your inner self told you.

  • Then, devote yourself to your first goal, and map out 30-day steps to accomplish it. Then continue with 30 more, and then 30 more. Then go on to the next goal and repeat the same process.

Some tips to make this process more effective:

  1. Select small goals first – start mapping out steps you need to take to make the plan a success, no matter how obvious or silly they might seem, for example, Goal – Get a Tattoo; Steps: Choose a tattoo, choose a good tattoo studio, call to set an appointment, get in the car, get the tattoo.

  2. So, why should you do this? Even the small goals that can be done anytime, have more steps than you might have originally thought. Once you start mapping down the simple tasks and parts, you will get used to thinking ahead, and in which direction you should be headed to accomplish bigger goals.

  3. Once you are done with your goal, even the smallest one, it’s time to celebrate your success. Although it doesn’t seem like a big deal sometimes, you need to understand that every step that you take forward in your life, is a step further than you have ever been in your life. Even the smallest steps count!

  4. Keep your Amethyst close, to help you enhance the connection with your inner self, to help you map out your goals accordingly!
