Look at a tree, a flower, a plant. Let your awareness rest upon it. How still they are, how deeply rooted in Being. Allow nature to teach you stillness.

Eckhart Tolle

The crazy busy world in which we live has taught us to do a thousand things all at once. However, the world that never stops moving, came to a stop when we all went under quarantine. And most of us started losing our minds after a while. Not only because of the world crisis, but also because we are so used to the noise, the everyday chaos, the estrangement from ourselves that when the world finally calmed down, and it came to a stillness that we always secretly yearned for - we flipped out.

The truth is, the way we lived before the quarantine is not really sustainable or healthy. We need to devote at least a little bit of time of our every single day to ourselves and make sense of who and what we are, to simply become more comfortable in our own presence and reflect on the things that happen to us. The chaos and the everyday noise that distracts us is an easy way to not deal with ourselves and to simply justify our estrangement from ourselves.

However, now that the world is so still and quiet, and we are left on our own, there is basically nowhere to run. And that’s the good in this horrible world crisis. This is the time to embrace the stillness and to embrace yourself, to get to know yourself and to become a better, healthier, magical self.

How To Embrace Stillness?

Don’t let the stillness go to waste! Work on creating your own damn magic gorgeous! Light a candle daily and simply devote a few moments of your time to embrace the silence.

  • Take a few moments of your time to stay still and silent, and connect with the energy of your crystals.

  • Meditate daily! Enhance your meditations by cleansing your space beforehand, doing a mantra meditation with a mala, play a singing bowl, or simply download an awesome free guided meditation app such as Neo: Travel Your Mind (we are not sponsored by them, we simply liked the app :). We also have a bunch of free guided meditations on our site that you can use for free and awaken your magic!

  • Cleanse yourself and your space with Sage or Palo Santo.

  • Light a candle and set an intention for self-acceptance or finding yourself in the stillness.

We want you to create your own damn magic, and we want to help you in every step of the way – but you are the one that has to make the first step.

Close your eyes right now, take a deep breath, sense the stillness in the air, and set your mind firmly on the intention of becoming the best possible you!
