When it comes to the mind, we already know that it's far more complicated than you might think. Just imagine, from the moment of your birth, your subconscious mind has kept the same temperature of your body, your heart beating and your lungs filled with air by breathing. And the accent here is on the subconscious mind. After all, you don't think about breathing, and you don't command your heart to beat. But, certainly, they don't work by themselves. Your subconscious mind is fine-tuning every part of your body while working as the most sophisticated memory bank.

Did you know that by the age of 21 you have stored billions of information in your subconscious mind, permanently? Amazing, isn't it? But, now that you think about it, what exactly is the subconscious mind?

The meaning of the Subconscious Mind

The subconscious mind is entirely subjective. It doesn't reason, it doesn't think. Its sole purpose is to retrieve data and store it. Based on that data it shapes your life. That means that your thoughts and actions are giving your subconscious mind the data it needs to program your most comfortable lifestyle.

Your subconscious mind holds infinite power, beyond what you could ever imagine. It has spent your entire life studying you, and your responses to different situations. It's like a machine specifically designed to help you achieve the goals of your life. What you feed your subconscious mind, that it will create.

So, if you continuously react to the same situation in the same exact manner, then your subconscious mind will turn it into an automatic response. Repeating the same process over and over again, because that is the data that it has on you. It is designed to do what you want to do. How you act and think is the data that your subconscious mind reads.

Let's do a little experiment. Think about something that scares you, like jumping off the plane with a parachute. You already feel uncomfortable, right? That is your subconscious. Based on the data that you fed it, it knows that jumping off the plane is way out of your habit and comfort zone. The fear and discomfort you experienced are the means of the subconscious mind to keep you in your comfort zone. Because for the subconscious mind all you are is a product of habits.

That is why, by breaking the paradigm and changing your thoughts and actions, you can achieve the unimaginable. Positive thinking and visualization work, because they are feeding the subconscious mind new data. And along with the new data comes change, based on those new thoughts and actions. Manifesting the fulfilled life that you always wanted to have is entirely up to you. And if the thought of that change scares you and excites you at the same time, then you know you are on the right track.
