Hello, fellow bookworms!

Spring is here, and with it, we thought it would be appropriate to dive into a little different adventure – the adventure of personal growth. Just like spring helps the flowers bloom we would like to share books with you that helped us grow and bloom as a person, and become better than we thought would be. Today we are sharing a classic, and one of the first books that we think you should read – especially if you would like to change yourself for the better. We are talking of course about: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change by Stephen R.Covey.

Why should you read The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R.Covey?

Life in itself is constantly changing. Some days, life is great, some days not so much. Some days are awesome, but then something happens and off our positive mood goes. We were all there, on all of those days, no doubt. And we might be there a 100 more times on any of those days. However, that doesn’t mean that we should just accept them as they are.

It's not what happens to us, but our response to what happens to us that hurts us.

We should strive to get the best of any day, in any situation. In his book, Covey gives numerous advice, that makes you stop and reflect on what you just read. He helps you not only see the flaws, but also to grow past them, to change, and to accept change. Filled with challenges and wisdom, we definitely recommend to take a notebook and start writing things down. Because Covey has a lot to teach. He shows how our perceptions and reactions can be very powerful, but in the end, we hold the power over them.

We are in charge. And most importantly, with this book he will help you to accept yourself, your choices – good and bad, and help you improve from that point on. Because everyone can change their current situation. Everyone can spark up that magic inside. You just have to be willing to do the work for it and work on yourself. An amazing read, that everyone should pick up!

But until a person can say deeply and honestly, "I am what I am today because of the choices I made yesterday," that person cannot say, "I choose otherwise.
