Hello everyone!

This week I have another awesome book recommendation for you.

Have you always had this thing, which drives an insane amount of energy in your heart that revolutionizes your spirit and sparks huge creative ideas in your mind whenever you do it and yet you don’t pursue it? When I put it like this it might seem silly, why wouldn’t anyone pursue something that gives power to their very souls? Shame perhaps, because if you don't feel there isn’t a market on which you could sell your talent or put it more simply, you can’t make money from it, then you just put it aside.

Gilbert vividly discusses this problem in her book and paints the bigger picture that we all somehow fail to see. Something that makes you feel alive whenever you do it, you just don’t walk away from because you are ashamed that you can’t make money from it. With her conversational and playful tone, she strikes right at the core of the problem and it’s not just mumbo-jumbo, she has everything backed up with facts. She wants people to celebrate their curiosity and creativity in all its might instead of diminishing it. Not only that this book is a joy to read, but this is really a wakeup call people. Society has pushed us into our little boxes and it’s time we grow out of them.

So read on my friends and celebrate your uniqueness instead of pushing it away!

Do whatever brings you to life, then. Follow your own fascinations, obsessions, and compulsions. Trust them. Create whatever causes a revolution in your heart.
